Legal Notice

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tomasz R. Barczyk d/b/a Tailored IP Solutions (“Tailored IP” or “Firm”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information obtained through tailoredipsolutions.com and its website forms, intake, booking, meeting, upload, and checkout features (collectively, “Site”). It covers information submitted by visitors, prospective clients, and clients through the Site. Information exchanged outside the Site in an attorney-client representation may also be governed by professional duties, an engagement agreement, and other notices.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, account passwords, full payment-card details, or other information the applicable form does not request.

1. Information Collected

Depending on how a visitor uses the Site, the Firm may collect the following:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, business or organization, and location;
  • Business, legal-matter, conflict-check, trademark, copyright, and other intake information you provide;
  • Documents and other files you upload;
  • Appointment, calendar, meeting, and communications information;
  • Order, transaction, payment-status, and refund information. Payment-card details are entered through Wix-hosted and Stripe-supported checkout and are not collected in the Site’s own intake forms or returned to the Site application. The Firm does not receive or store a complete payment-card number; and
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring page, date and time, activity needed to deliver and secure the Site, and cookie or similar-technology data.

This information comes from the visitor, the visitor’s browser or device, and service providers supporting the features the visitor chooses to use.

2. How Information Is Used

The Firm uses information to respond to inquiries; identify possible conflicts; evaluate whether and how Tailored IP may assist with a matter; administer intake, appointments, meetings, orders, payments, and refunds; communicate with visitors; provide requested website features; secure the Site and prevent misuse; maintain business, conflict, financial, and professional records; establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; and comply with legal and professional obligations. Tailored IP does not use legal-intake answers or uploaded documents for advertising.

3. Temporary Browser Storage

To carry an intake submission into the booking process, the Site may temporarily place your first and last name, email address, telephone number, and a Wix submission identifier in session storage in your browser. This information remains on the same website origin, is not placed in the page URL, and is cleared after use, expiration, or the end of the applicable browser session.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Wix and the Site use cookies and similar technologies needed to operate, secure, and remember choices within the Site. These may support session management, fraud prevention, load balancing, form, booking, and checkout functions. You can control cookies through your browser and any cookie controls displayed on the Site, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent some features from working.

As of the effective date, the Site does not use Google Analytics, Google Ads or DoubleClick, Meta/Facebook, X/Twitter, or other tools for remarketing or cross-context behavioral advertising. Tailored IP does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use personal information for targeted advertising. The Site does not collect personal information about a visitor’s activities over time across unrelated websites for those purposes. Because browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized and the Site does not engage in that cross-site advertising collection, the Site does not respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. The Firm will revise this section before enabling materially different analytics or advertising technology.

5. Service Providers and Other Disclosures

The Firm discloses information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to providers that operate under their own terms, privacy notices, and applicable data-processing commitments. Current providers include Wix for hosting, Forms, Contacts, Bookings, eCommerce and checkout records, Media Manager, and automations; Stripe for payment processing; Microsoft 365 for calendar administration, business communications, and records; and Google Meet for online meetings. Each provider’s handling of information is also governed by that provider’s privacy practices.

The Firm may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or professional obligations; protect rights, safety, or the security of the Site; investigate misuse; obtain professional advice; or complete a reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the practice, subject to applicable confidentiality duties and legal restrictions. Tailored IP does not disclose personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing.

6. Security

The Site transmits forms over HTTPS. Form, contact, booking, and transaction information is maintained in access-controlled Wix business records. After the private-upload configuration has been released and verified, documents submitted through the trademark and copyright intake forms will be stored as private Wix Media Manager files; ordinary public media links will not retrieve them, and access will require an authenticated, time-limited link. Access is limited to persons and providers with a legitimate need for it.

No method of transmission or storage is risk-free. The Firm uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and periodically reviews those safeguards, but Tailored IP cannot guarantee absolute security. A person who prefers not to transmit information through the Site should contact Tailored IP before sending it to discuss another method.

7. Retention and Deletion

The Firm retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, professional, security, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs. The period varies by record type. Intake submissions, contact records, and private uploads may be retained to evaluate the inquiry and preserve appropriate conflict records. Booking and meeting records may be retained to administer appointments and document communications. Order, payment-status, refund, and transaction records may be retained for financial and legal compliance. Information associated with an accepted matter may be retained under the engagement agreement and applicable professional obligations. The Firm deletes or de-identifies information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup cycles and legal or professional duties that require or permit retention.

8. Your Choices and Requests

A person may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information collected through the Site by emailing admin@tailoredipsolutions.com. The request should describe the information or interaction involved. Tailored IP may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting. The Firm will respond as required by applicable law, but may deny or limit a request when retention or nondisclosure is required or permitted by law, court order, an engagement agreement, attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, professional duties, conflict-record needs, security, or the rights of another person. Tailored IP does not discriminate against a person for making a privacy request.

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Tailored IP does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. A person who believes a child has submitted information should contact Tailored IP so the Firm can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

10. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Site may link to or use third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Privacy Policy. Review those notices before providing information directly to them.

11. Changes to This Policy

The Firm may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Site, Tailored IP’s practices, or legal requirements. The Firm will post the revised policy on the Site and change the effective date above. If a change is material, Tailored IP will provide additional notice on the Site or by another appropriate method before the change takes effect when required. The revised policy applies from its stated effective date.

12. Contact

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to admin@tailoredipsolutions.com. Questions about possible legal representation may be sent to info@tailoredipsolutions.com.
